أكد نجم نادي برشلونة فيرمين لوبيز غيابه عن المشاركة مع منتخب إسبانيا في بطولة كأس العالم 2026، بعد خضوعه لجراحة إثر إصابته بكسر في مشط القدم اليمنى.
وكتب لوبيز عبر حسابه على موقع «إنستغرام»: «لقد سارت العملية على ما يرام، وأنا أفكر بالفعل في العودة أقوى، بدنياً ونفسياً».
الحياة وكرة القدم قاسيتان
وأضاف نجم برشلونة: «قد تكون الحياة وكرة القدم قاسيتين في وقت غير متوقع، ولكن عليك أن تتقبل أن هذا جزء من الرحلة، فهذا وقت عصيب للغاية بالنسبة لي، وتحدٍّ آخر في مسيرتي سأتجاوزه، لا شك في ذلك».
رسالة دعم لمنتخب إسبانيا
وختم رسالته: «حان الآن وقت دعم منتخب إسبانيا وزملائي من المنزل، شكراً جزيلاً من أعماق قلبي للجميع على دعمكم وكلماتكم الطيبة».
ويقع المنتخب الإسباني في المجموعة الثامنة في بطولة كأس العالم 2026، إلى جانب منتخبات السعودية وأوروغواي والرأس الأخضر.
وتستضيف الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك النسخة القادمة من المونديال خلال الفترة من 11 يونيو إلى 19 يوليو، بمشاركة 48 منتخباً لأول مرة في تاريخ البطولة.
Barcelona star Fermín López confirmed his absence from participating with the Spanish national team in the 2026 World Cup after undergoing surgery due to a fracture in his right foot.
López wrote on his Instagram account: "The operation went well, and I am already thinking about coming back stronger, both physically and mentally."
The Barcelona star added: "Life and football can be harsh at unexpected times, but you have to accept that this is part of the journey. This is a very tough time for me, and another challenge in my career that I will overcome, no doubt about it."
Message of Support for the Spanish Team
He concluded his message: "Now is the time to support the Spanish team and my teammates from home. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart to everyone for your support and kind words."
The Spanish national team is in Group H in the 2026 World Cup, alongside the teams from Saudi Arabia, Uruguay, and Cape Verde.
The United States, Canada, and Mexico will host the upcoming edition of the World Cup from June 11 to July 19, with 48 teams participating for the first time in the tournament's history.
